Job Summary
Providing technical and regulatory expertise, the remote contract Spectrum Policy Subject Matter Expert will support spectrum management, allocation, and compliance initiatives while advising internal stakeholders and government agencies over a 12-24 month period.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on RF spectrum management and policy matters
- Analyze spectrum regulations and assess their operational impacts
- Coordinate with government agencies and industry stakeholders on spectrum initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, Computer Engineering, Public Policy, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in spectrum management or telecommunications policy
- Strong understanding of RF propagation and frequency management
- Experience with federal and international spectrum regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of spectrum authorization and frequency assignment processes
