Splunk DBA

Job Summary

Seeking a Splunk DBA, the mostly remote position will involve installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Splunk environments on Red Hat Linux, while supporting data ingestion, application deployments, and system health monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Splunk Enterprise components on RHEL systems in cloud environments
• Configure and monitor data injection and application deployment to Splunk
• Work with users to create reports and dashboards

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience administering Splunk Enterprise in Red Hat Linux environments
• Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Splunk components including Universal Forwarders, Heavy Forwarders, and Indexers
• Experience managing Splunk access based on security requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Experience promoting application and configuration changes through the SDLC into production
