Splunk DBA

Job Summary

Seeking a Splunk DBA to work mostly remotely, this full-time position involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Splunk environments on Red Hat Linux, while supporting data ingestion, application deployments, and system health monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Splunk Enterprise components on RHEL systems in cloud environments
• Configure and monitor data injection and application deployment to Splunk
• Manage Splunk access in accordance with project security requirements

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience administering Splunk Enterprise in Red Hat Linux environments
• Experience with Splunk components including Universal Forwarders, Search Heads, and Indexers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Experience creating and managing Splunk reports and dashboards
• Experience promoting application and configuration changes through the SDLC into production
