Splunk DBA

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the mostly remote Splunk DBA will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Splunk environments on Red Hat Linux, ensuring data ingestion and application deployment while managing access and system health.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Splunk Enterprise components on RHEL systems
• Configure and monitor data injection and application deployment to Splunk
• Work with users to create reports and dashboards and manage access based on security requirements

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Splunk Administration and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Splunk Enterprise components
• Proficiency in creating and managing Splunk reports and dashboards
• Experience with promoting application and configuration changes through the SDLC
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
