Splunk ITSI Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Seeking a Splunk ITSI Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a remote contract position, the candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced Splunk monitoring solutions within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize Splunk within the DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture to support enterprise-wide log management and telemetry collection
• Integrate observability solutions with DoD cloud frameworks to ensure visibility across multi-cloud environments
• Design and implement new monitoring and service intelligence capabilities, improving operational awareness and system reliability

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required
• IAT II (Security+) or higher-level certification required
• Strong knowledge of the DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture and enterprise log management standards
• Hands-on experience implementing Splunk ITSI in enterprise environments
• Experience integrating data from various operational systems and cloud-hosted ecosystems
