Job Summary

To build a vibrant community around the Kansas Jayhawks, the remote-based Contractor Site Expert will produce daily content, support contributors, and manage the site's social media presence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the publication of multiple daily content pieces, including news stories and analysis
• Edit and provide feedback on articles from contributors while suggesting topic ideas
• Manage the site's social media accounts, engaging with fans and sharing articles creatively

Required qualifications

• Proven knowledge and passion for the Kansas Jayhawks and related sports content
• Experience in writing and content creation, particularly in a sports context
• Familiarity with social media platforms, specifically Twitter and Facebook
• Ability to strategize and produce engaging content that stands out
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple content pieces and deadlines
