SQA Tester (Manual)
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time SQA Tester (Manual) will develop and execute test strategies and plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and traceability for various testing types
- Validate requirements and acceptance criteria across supported applications and workflows
- Record, triage, retest, and close defects with clear evidence and reporting on test progress and risks
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience
- Experience creating test cases and executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Experience with defect tracking, test evidence, and Agile delivery
- Experience with healthcare or clinical application workflows is preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government credentials, including a PIV where applicable
