SQL Database Administrator
Job Summary
Working from home, the full-time Mid-Level+ SQL Database Administrator will provide support, development, and maintenance services for SQL and Oracle database environments, including troubleshooting and configuration management for various database systems.
Key responsibilities
- Execute daily troubleshooting, system setup, error triage, and configuration for SQL Server and SQL Clusters
- Manage request lifecycles from submission to closeout within ServiceNow
- Perform proactive capacity planning and system health monitoring using Idera and SolarWinds
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in SQL and Oracle database administration
- Experience with troubleshooting database issues and application-level integrations
- Proficiency in managing SQL and Oracle database servers
- Familiarity with HA/DR, SQL Cluster environments, and Oracle RMAN technologies
- Ability to respond to and execute Requests for Changes (RFCs) for ongoing maintenance
