SQL Developer
Job Summary
Supporting the VA's multi-cloud enterprise data management platform, the full-time SQL Developer will design, maintain, and optimize SQL database structures and data pipelines while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and optimize SQL database systems and related data structures
- Develop and troubleshoot ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources into Azure Data Lake Service
Required qualifications
- Proven experience with SQL Server and Azure Data technologies
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development
- Experience with Databricks and Starburst for data integration
- Familiarity with data quality controls and metadata management tools like Collibra
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
