SQL Developer and Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time remote SQL Developer and Analyst will develop and optimize SQL queries, analyze healthcare data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure data quality and reporting accuracy.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize advanced SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and analysis across large clinical and operational datasets
• Analyze healthcare data, identify trends, and create reports and visualizations using Power BI and other business intelligence tools
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to evaluate data flows and ensure data quality throughout migration and EHR modernization activities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or eight years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience developing advanced SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience analyzing healthcare datasets and familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 or FHIR
• Strong understanding of relational database structures and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Ability to investigate data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and integrity through analytical and troubleshooting skills
