SQL Developer and Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time SQL Developer and Analyst will work remotely to provide SQL development, data analysis, reporting, and data quality monitoring for electronic health record (EHR) initiatives, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and analysis across large datasets
• Analyze healthcare data, identify trends, and create reports and visualizations using Power BI and other tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate data flows and support data quality monitoring processes throughout migration activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field, or eight years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with advanced SQL development and data extraction using Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience analyzing healthcare datasets and familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR
• Strong understanding of relational database structures and experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Ability to document technical findings and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
