SQL Developer Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of SQL developers and data analysts, the full-time SQL Developer Team Lead will provide technical leadership in SQL development, data analysis, and reporting for a remote position supporting a federal healthcare modernization project.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team, assigning tasks and monitoring deliverables while supporting team development and performance improvement
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in developing and optimizing SQL queries and scripts within SQL Server environments
• Oversee healthcare data analysis and migration activities, ensuring data quality and coordinating validation efforts

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or eight years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Extensive experience developing and optimizing SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server with large datasets
• Demonstrated experience leading SQL development or data analysis teams with a focus on technical standards
• Strong background in analyzing healthcare datasets and familiarity with data migration and validation processes
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to investigate data discrepancies and implement solutions
