Job Summary
Seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator for a full-time remote position, responsible for administering, optimizing, and securing Microsoft SQL Server environments while supporting large-scale production systems and driving database modernization initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments across various platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and implement High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application development and automate routine DBA tasks
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of SQL Server Database Administration experience
- Expertise in HA/DR technologies such as Always On, Clustering, and Replication
- Strong skills in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, and T-SQL Development
- Experience with backup and recovery administration
- Familiarity with Windows Server Administration
