Job Summary
Seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator, the full-time remote role will manage the administration, performance optimization, and security of Microsoft SQL Server environments while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to drive database modernization initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments across production, development, and disaster recovery platforms
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Automate routine DBA tasks and support application development teams with T-SQL code optimization and troubleshooting
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of SQL Server Database Administration experience
- Proficiency with SQL Server versions 2012 through 2019 and HA/DR technologies
- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and backup/recovery administration
- Strong T-SQL development and troubleshooting skills
- Windows Server Administration experience
