SRE Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

To support a major enterprise security initiative, the hybrid SRE Infrastructure Engineer will implement and tune Data Loss Prevention controls, translate security requirements into operational controls, and engineer security measures across infrastructure and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and tune Data Loss Prevention controls and security measures across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
• Translate approved security requirements into technical configurations and build endpoint, email, and network DLP controls
• Automate security-control implementation, monitor effectiveness, and support incident response and remediation efforts

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, systems, network, security, or cloud engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise production environments and implementing network security controls
• Experience with enterprise firewalls, preferably Palo Alto Networks, and knowledge of IP networking concepts
• Working knowledge of DLP technologies and protecting sensitive information, including PII, PHI, and PCI data
• Automation/IaC experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python
