Job Summary
To support students preparing for the SSAT Upper Level admissions test, the remote contract Senior Tutor will provide high-quality online tutoring sessions, create lesson plans, and evaluate student progress while maintaining communication with parents.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality remote tutoring sessions to students preparing for the SSAT
- Create and deliver lessons, coordinate homework and practice exams, and evaluate student progress
- Stay updated on changes in the SSAT exams and adjust lesson plans accordingly
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Past experience teaching or tutoring SSAT in a paid capacity
- Ability to tutor one or more sections of the respective test (Math and ELA)
- Self-motivated and committed to helping students succeed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
