SSRS/SSIS Business Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced SSRS/SSIS Reporting Business Analyst, this full-time remote position will gather and translate business reporting needs into detailed requirements, analyze data, and support SSRS/SSIS development while ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document, and manage business, reporting, and data requirements
- Define SSRS report requirements and partner with developers to support report and SSIS/ETL process enhancements
- Develop test scenarios and perform functional, integration, regression, and data-validation testing
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Strong SQL/T-SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and validating data
- Experience developing report specifications, business requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Understanding of relational databases and experience with source-to-target mapping
