Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Accountant will manage the complete accounting cycle for assigned restaurant clients, performing daily reconciliations, assisting with accounts payable, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bank account reconciliations and review restaurant daily sales information for multiple clients
• Assist with accounts payable tasks, including coding invoices and applying payments
• Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve account issues and provide support for inquiries

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, ideally with P&L responsibility
• Prior experience with Sage Intacct or similar cloud accounting software is a plus
• Strong technology skills and experience with modern business SaaS applications
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a remote environment
