Staff Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Staff Accountant will manage month-end close processes, prepare journal entries, and perform detailed analysis of balance sheet accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Perform month-end close functions for multiple entities, including journal entries and accruals analysis
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and provide supporting documentation and analysis for variances
- Record cash transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and support financial and tax audits as needed
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred
- Experience with ERP systems; Workday experience is a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
