Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing Finance team, the remote Staff Accountant will manage corporate tax compliance, cash reconciliations, and member reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounting functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare indirect tax filings and manage state registration filings accurately and timely
• Oversee the member reimbursement process and manage the company's escheatment process
• Handle daily cash transactions and perform month-end cash account reconciliations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of hands-on corporate accounting or operational accounting experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (US GAAP) and general ledger operations
• Demonstrated proficiency with cash reconciliations and multi-state/corporate compliance tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with modern accounting systems
