Staff Accountant
Job Summary
Supporting the company's financial processes, the full-time Staff Accountant will assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance while working remotely in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with month-end financial statement close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Own key areas of the close process, including month-end accruals and cash management
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance internal controls
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with 1-2 years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting
- CPA or CPA eligible preferred
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
- Proficiency with general ledger software, ideally NetSuite
