Job Summary
To support a growing SaaS business, the full-time remote Staff Accountant will manage key accounting workflows, drive accurate month-end closes, and leverage AI and automation to enhance efficiency in financial processes.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable, employee expenses, and procurement workflows, utilizing automation for streamlined transaction management
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations while using AI tools to identify discrepancies and ensure timely reporting
- Partner with stakeholders to improve procurement controls and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 2+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, including accruals, prepaids, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience with accounting systems, preferably NetSuite and Ramp
- Practical knowledge of AI tools for enhancing accounting workflows and processes
- Proactive and collaborative approach with strong analytical skills and a drive for continuous improvement
