Staff Accountant with CPA License
Job Summary
Owning the day-to-day accounting operations, the full-time Staff Accountant with CPA License will manage accounts payable, contribute to the month-end close process, and support compliance and tax functions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with month-end close deliverables
- Oversee the entire accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment runs
- Support US sales tax compliance and assist with external tax preparation and intercompany transaction recording
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or technology/SaaS environments
- CPA License is required
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and the accrual close cycle
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks
- Ability to analyze large data sets using Excel or Sheets
