Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Staff AI Data Engineer to work remotely, where the candidate will deliver customer-facing data products, apply AI-driven capabilities to enhance data, and build necessary data engineering pipelines to support product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Own customer-facing data products from definition to iteration, ensuring they meet user needs and drive outcomes
- Apply AI methodologies to extract and enrich data, building evaluation systems for reliability
- Design and implement ingestion and transformation pipelines, establishing data quality and standards
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data science with a proven track record of impactful customer-facing data products
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and data problems, including extraction, classification, and semantic search
- Expertise in SQL and strong proficiency in Python for building maintainable production code
- Experience in modern data environments such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees are a plus
