Staff AI Engineer
Job Summary
Partnering with cross-functional teams, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered products while working remotely, focusing on optimizing AI systems and ensuring responsible AI principles are embedded in all designs.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and product managers to deliver innovative AI solutions
- Design and support AI software components, including model training and evaluation
- Set technical direction for enterprise-wide AI architecture and champion responsible AI practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with at least 8 years of experience in AI/ML, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience
- At least 8 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java
- Experience designing and deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms
- Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics with expertise in AI technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and influence stakeholders
