Staff AI Engineer
Job Summary
Partnering with a cross-functional team, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI software components while driving the technical direction for enterprise-wide AI architecture in a remote eligible position.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support AI software components including foundation model training and large language model inference
- Invent and introduce optimization techniques to enhance the performance and scalability of production AI systems
- Champion responsible AI principles and drive internal education and mentorship across teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with relevant experience in AI and ML technologies
- At least 8 years of programming experience with languages such as Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java
- Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms
- Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics with expertise in AI optimization
- Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
