Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

To lead the design and delivery of AI/ML systems, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will serve as a key technical leader on a cross-functional team, defining AI architecture, optimizing model development, and solving complex integration challenges while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows and maintain RAG pipelines for dynamic knowledge sources
• Develop backend services in Python and Node.js, ensuring reliable event-driven orchestration and clean error handling
• Collaborate with product and design teams to scope and ship features, while mentoring other engineers on best practices in agentic engineering

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically with GenAI/LLM-powered systems in production
• Hands-on expertise in agentic AI, RAG methodologies, and evaluation and observability for LLM systems
• Strong skills in prompt engineering and experience with the AWS GenAI stack, including Bedrock and Lambda
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js, with experience in building full-stack applications and RESTful APIs
• Understanding of production reliability patterns for LLM-backed systems and experience with containerization and cloud-native deployment
