Staff AI Engineer
Job Summary
As a senior technical leader, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will design, evolve, and scale enterprise AI platforms and capabilities remotely, influencing AI platform strategy and leading complex initiatives across various AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of large-scale, distributed AI systems and own the architecture for critical AI capabilities
- Design and implement production-grade AI systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and governance in enterprise AI solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions and provide technical insights for roadmap decisions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience building backend services, distributed systems, or data/AI platforms
- Strong proficiency in Java, Go, or Python, with experience in large-scale service development
- Deep understanding of distributed system design, scalability, and cloud-native architectures
- Proven experience designing and operating production systems with SQL and NoSQL data stores
