Job Summary
Leading high-impact AI projects, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will provide technical leadership, manage architectural decisions, and contribute to production AI systems while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Become a primary individual contributor on Moxie's AI initiatives, contributing to production systems and identifying improvement opportunities
- Ship early wins that enhance AI quality and reliability, delivering targeted fixes and improvements within the first two months
- Lead major AI projects from design to production, including cross-functional collaboration and establishing evaluation systems for reliability
Required qualifications
- Staff-level engineering experience with a track record of leading large, ambiguous initiatives
- Production LLM experience, having designed and delivered LLM agents or generative features for real customers
- Proven technical leadership and experience improving engineering practices across teams
- Experience in AI evaluation and quality engineering, building systems to measure and improve production AI reliability
- Strong backend and platform engineering skills, proficient in Python, Django, and related technologies
