Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of AI/ML systems, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will serve as a key technical leader on a remote cross-functional team, focusing on AI architecture, model development, and integration challenges while establishing engineering standards for scalable AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows and maintain RAG pipelines for dynamic knowledge sources
• Develop backend services in Python and Node.js, supporting agentic workflows and event-driven orchestration
• Collaborate with global teams to scope and ship features end-to-end while mentoring other engineers in agentic engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly with GenAI/LLM-powered systems in production
• Hands-on expertise in agentic AI, including reasoning loops and multi-agent orchestration
• Practical knowledge of RAG strategies, embeddings, and vector databases
• Strong prompt engineering skills with the ability to create structured production system prompts
• Experience with the AWS GenAI stack, including Bedrock, Lambda, and DynamoDB
