Staff AI Full-Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff AI Full-Stack Engineer will lead the development of high-quality applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers while focusing on innovative AI solutions and application lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of robust, observable applications using extreme programming practices
• Collaborate with design and product teams to navigate the application lifecycle and implement business outcomes
• Establish and elevate software standards while mentoring junior team members through hands-on sessions

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software development, particularly with production applications using foundation models
• 6+ years of experience integrating AI applications securely with enterprise data and APIs
• 4+ years of experience optimizing AI application quality, latency, and reliability
• Advanced knowledge of application design patterns and event-driven architecture
• Experience with major cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
