Staff Android Engineer
Job Summary
Owning and evolving foundational Android infrastructure, the full-time Staff Android Engineer will design shared libraries, drive architecture decisions, and lead cross-cutting technical initiatives while working remotely within a distributed team.
Key responsibilities
- Own and enhance modularization, dependency injection, navigation, and app lifecycle systems
- Design and deliver frameworks that improve developer ergonomics and drive Android architecture decisions
- Lead architecture and design reviews, establish technical standards, and mentor engineers
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of Android development experience with a demonstrated impact at an organizational scale
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Deep expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture patterns
- Experience leading large-scale technical initiatives across multiple teams
- Strong perspective on effective AI use in engineering and experience with AI-assisted development tools
