Staff Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Staff Application Security Engineer will focus on the strategy, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application security program, ensuring secure product designs and conducting security reviews and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on secure product designs and perform architecture and code security reviews
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement security-related systems and verify threat models
• Monitor software usage for compliance with security standards and mentor junior security engineers

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant Information Security and/or Software Engineering experience
• Fluency with AI/LLM-specific security risks and experience securing AI-powered application features
• Excellent knowledge of secure application programming and coding life cycles
• Advanced knowledge of multiple operating systems and hosting environments
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Security, or relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, etc.)
