Staff Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of Teleport's Core Product, the full-time Staff Backend Engineer will design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable systems in Go, focusing on security and performance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Become an expert on scalability, performance, and reliability of Teleport in large deployments
- Design, develop, and ship high-quality products, primarily using Go
- Lead a distributed team to improve observability and failure handling in the access layer
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience with Go programming language
- Proven track record in developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems
- Strong team leadership and management experience
- Linux systems engineering experience
- Knowledge of Identity Management and zero-trust security models
