Job Summary
As a full-time remote Staff Backend Graph Engineer, the candidate will shape the identity graph by defining schemas and relationships, own entity resolution at scale, and build high-performance systems to support fraud intelligence and analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Define schemas, relationships, and ontology for consistent and extensible identity data
- Design and implement batch and real-time pipelines, low-latency APIs, and serving systems
- Lead architecture decisions and mentor engineers while ensuring privacy and security of identity data
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience building and running distributed systems in the cloud, with at least 2 years at a Staff or Senior Staff level
- Proven experience with Spark, Kafka, or Flink in both batch and streaming contexts
- Experience in building low-latency APIs and handling production-scale systems
- Technical leadership experience, including mentoring and influencing cross-team projects
