Staff Behavioral Scientist

Job Summary

Owning the scientific integrity of a new venture, the full-time Staff Behavioral Scientist will apply industrial-organizational psychology to validate product claims, design psychometric instruments, and conduct applied research, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the Massachusetts headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Apply I/O psychology assessment science to product, positioning, and research decisions
• Design and validate psychometric instruments and ensure scientific rigor in all claims
• Conduct applied research with pilot customers to validate product efficacy and workplace outcomes

Required qualifications

• PhD or equivalent applied experience in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Psychometrics, or related field
• Hands-on experience in psychometric development, including scale construction and validation design
• Demonstrated ability to conduct applied validation research in organizational settings
• Fluency in translating scientific research into actionable product features and messaging
• Passion for leveraging AI tools to enhance work processes and productivity
