Staff Bioinformatics Scientist

Job Summary

Leading the development of innovative bioinformatics capabilities, the full-time Staff Bioinformatics Scientist will ensure pipeline accuracy and reliability while collaborating cross-functionally to launch new science products in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new bioinformatics capabilities to expand use cases and drive volume
• Collaborate with engineering, lab, quality, and clinical teams to launch new science products
• Oversee bioinformatics operations, including developing tools and methods to track key metrics

Required qualifications

• Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with analyzing DNA sequencing data
• Coding and/or data analysis experience in Python
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
