Staff Cloud Architect
Job Summary
Leading the design and delivery of complex multi-domain systems, the six-month contract Staff Cloud Architect will work remotely, defining technical strategy and owning end-to-end architecture for cloud, data, and AI/ML engagements while providing technical leadership across teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define technical strategy and lead architectural design for cloud, data, and AI/ML systems
- Architect scalable cloud-native solutions and design data architectures for various workloads
- Mentor mid-level engineers and act as a technical escalation point on complex challenges
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in architecture or technical leadership roles
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong background in microservices, serverless, containers, and event-driven systems
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tools
- Experience designing AI/ML systems for production, including LLMs and MLOps
