Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading complex data engineering initiatives, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will set technical direction, develop architecture for data platforms, and implement scalable solutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Set technical direction and develop target-state architecture for cross-system data platforms and products
• Design and implement solutions for real-time data ingestion, telemetry, and data quality
• Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions across the organization

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in data engineering, distributed systems, and cloud platforms
• Strong programming experience in Python, Java, Scala, or a comparable language
• Experience designing and operating streaming and batch data pipelines at production scale
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on ambiguous problems
• Experience influencing stakeholders and gaining adoption of new architectures or processes
