Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing customer data infrastructure, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will manage the end-to-end systems, pipelines, and source integrations for Jane's marketing events while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Jane's customer data infrastructure, ensuring consistency and reliability across event pipelines and source integrations
• Drive tooling strategy for the collection layer, including evaluating and implementing Customer Data Platforms and managing consent-compliant tracking
• Establish instrumentation standards and oversee identity resolution and attribution to ensure accurate tracking of user journeys across multiple channels

Required Qualifications

• Experience evaluating or implementing Customer Data Platforms, including migration or consolidation of existing tools
• Strong understanding of privacy-compliant tracking and consent management, ideally in healthcare or regulated environments
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and SQL; familiarity with Python is a strong asset
• Experience with identity resolution, attribution, or cross-domain tracking
• Comfort working with AI tools as part of day-to-day workflow
