Job Summary
Owning the technical design of the data platform, the full-time remote Staff Data Engineer will build and manage data products, ensuring trustworthy data governance and facilitating access for various stakeholders, including AI agents.
Key responsibilities
- Build and own data products that deliver trustworthy data for analysts, engineers, and AI tools
- Design and operate secure, authorized interfaces for data consumption by products, partners, and agents
- Implement governance practices, including classification, access policy, and change control as code
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in data engineering, including experience at a Staff or lead level
- Deep experience in SQL and Python
- Strong database fundamentals in modern analytical warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
- Knowledge of ETL orchestration tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airflow) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
