Job Summary
To support the development of scalable data solutions, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will lead the architecture and delivery of ETL/ELT pipelines and data platform services while working remotely or onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable batch and near-real-time ETL/ELT pipelines and data platform services
- Establish technical standards for data quality, governance, and security across critical domains
- Mentor and guide other Data Engineers in best practices, design reviews, and technical knowledge sharing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production-grade data platforms
- Expert proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong software design and debugging skills
- Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud services such as AWS
- Experience with orchestration technologies like Airflow and establishing CI/CD practices
