Staff Data Scientist
Job Summary
To accelerate execution on priority content investments, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will design and oversee product experiments, conduct complex analyses, and partner with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support product development efforts
- Design and measure experiments to inform feature decisions
- Develop key strategic insights through exploratory data analysis to inform future investments
Required qualifications
- Staff-level Data Scientist or Tech Lead experience, ideally within social media or consumer technology
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Statistics
- Demonstrated expertise in non-randomized A/B testing and advanced causal inference methods
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of effective working relationships
- Expert knowledge of SQL and Python programming, including data science tools such as numpy and pandas
