Job Summary

To drive impactful healthcare outcomes, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will own the measurement and presentation of Pomelo's clinical and economic impact, utilizing advanced statistical models and collaborating with external partners in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and execute scalable analyses of Pomelo Care's program outcomes, breaking down complex mandates into actionable insights
• Lead technical engagements with external partners, presenting methodologies and building credibility in evaluation efforts
• Drive the evidence strategy through partner-facing reporting, conference presentations, and peer-reviewed publications

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in developing statistical models for complex healthcare problems using techniques such as regression and clustering
• Experience with cost of care or clinical outcomes target setting in healthcare organizations or consulting firms
• Proficiency in Python or R, as well as SQL
• Demonstrated ability to present statistical analyses to diverse external stakeholders
• Expertise in statistics and health economics, with a focus on driving impactful business outcomes
