Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for document verification solutions, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will guide data scientists through complex challenges and oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle, working in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a domain expert in computer vision and machine learning, offering technical direction across document verification projects
• Oversee the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including data selection, model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
• Guide and mentor data scientists through complex modeling challenges, establishing best practices and technical standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 10+ years of professional experience in computer vision and machine learning
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and improving production machine learning systems at scale
• Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple machine learning projects, including mentoring other data scientists
• Strong understanding of the full machine learning lifecycle from data strategy to production monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders
