Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading a high-output data science team, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will manage end-to-end delivery of data science projects, focusing on data engineering, governance, and production model delivery in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the delivery of high-impact data science projects from business request to production-ready systems
• Design and maintain data pipelines, models, and governance standards while ensuring infrastructure is treated as a key product concern
• Translate ambiguous business problems into well-scoped analytical and modeling work, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or a closely related technical discipline
• 1+ year of formal technical lead experience with a readiness to grow into direct management
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in production code
• Deep understanding of data infrastructure, including pipelines, warehousing, and data modeling
• Master's degree or Bachelor's Degree in a technical, quantitative field
