Job Summary
As a strategic individual contributor, the full-time remote Staff Data Scientist will lead analytical initiatives for the Play business and Rewarded Apps portfolio, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed product strategies and complex modeling efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Set the analytical strategy for Play, identifying high-impact opportunities across various performance metrics
- Translate business challenges into structured analytical approaches and lead advanced analytics initiatives
- Mentor analysts and data scientists while establishing best practices for modeling and experimentation
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative strategy
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with a strong background in machine learning and predictive modeling
- Solid foundation in statistics, experimental design, and causal inference techniques
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience mentoring others and improving analytical quality across teams
