Owning the measurement and presentation of Pomelo's clinical and economic impact, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will architect and execute analyses to assess healthcare outcomes, engage with external partners, and drive evidence strategy in a remote environment.

- Own and define ambiguous mandates, aligning stakeholders on key questions and assumptions
- Architect and execute scalable analyses to evaluate Pomelo Care's program outcomes
- Lead technical engagement with external partners, presenting methodologies and building credibility
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in developing statistical models for complex healthcare problems
- Formal training in statistics, econometrics, or actuarial science
- Experience with cost of care or clinical outcomes target setting in healthcare settings
- Proficiency in Python or R and SQL
- Experience presenting statistical analyses to diverse external stakeholders
