Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

As a technical leader, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will architect automated machine learning systems, translate business needs into actionable technical roadmaps, and drive the deployment of robust ML products in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of automated ML systems while balancing speed and quality
• Translate ambiguous business questions into concrete technical roadmaps that deliver actionable results
• Ensure the end-to-end deployment of ML products is accurate, maintainable, and fully integrated into production infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science or ML Engineering with a proven track record of building production systems
• High proficiency in Python and SQL, with expert-level experience in the Python data stack and a major ML framework
• Experience with CI/CD, ML Ops, and managing the full lifecycle of models in a cloud-based production environment
• Education: BS, MS, or PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent field expertise
• Proven ability to influence without authority and translate complex technical logic into compelling narratives
