Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

Owning the product modeling roadmap, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will design, build, and deploy production ML models while collaborating with product managers to enhance marketing measurement in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models for product experiences, coverage recommenders, and agent assignment logic
• Engineer features and prototype experiments, delivering iterative model improvements to production
• Collaborate with engineering and product managers to define real-time consumption of model scores in product surfaces

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning at established firms or high-growth tech companies
• Strong command of supervised learning and recommendation systems with a track record of deploying production models
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, including libraries such as pymc, scikit-learn, and XGBoost/LightGBM
• Hands-on experience with Bayesian methods, experiment design, and causal inference techniques
• Experience integrating production models with consumer-facing products in insurtech or fintech environments
